Privacy policy
1. Overview
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially, in accordance with the statutory data protection rules (GDPR) and this privacy policy.
2. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is Flyapco — APCO Aviation DACH/EU Distribution. Contact: [email protected]. Full address in the imprint.
3. Hosting and technical provision
This website is served from a server in Germany and delivered via the Cloudflare network. When a page is requested, technical log data is recorded (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL). This data is not passed on to third parties and is deleted automatically after 14 days (legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operation and security).
4. Cookies and external content
We use no technically necessary cookies. This website works entirely without cookies.
Optionally, and only after your consent via the cookie banner:
- YouTube videos on product pages. When you click a YouTube preview image, a player is loaded in YouTube no-cookie mode. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-free, anonymised reach measurement. No personal data is collected, no profiling, no cross-site tracking. Provider: Cloudflare Inc., USA, with EU standard contractual clauses.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, your details (name, email, message) are stored to process the enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR). This data is not passed on and is deleted once processed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
6. Warranty extension
When you submit the warranty form, the following data is processed: email address, model, purchase date and, where applicable, dealer and serial number.
The data is transferred via the Brevo API (Sendinblue SAS, France) into our customer database in order to register the warranty extension and to send reminder emails (e.g. for the 2-year check). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract).
Brevo is GDPR-compliant and based in the EU. You can have your data deleted at any time — just send a short email to [email protected].
7. Newsletter (double opt-in)
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use the double opt-in procedure: after you enter your email address, we send a confirmation email. Your address is only added to our newsletter list once you click the confirmation link. Until then, no sign-up is stored.
To document your consent we log the time of confirmation and the IP address used. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). Sending and management are handled via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France).
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect — via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter, or with a short message to [email protected].
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- complaint to the competent supervisory authority (Bavarian Data Protection Authority, Ansbach)
9. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically records information in server log files transmitted by your browser: browser type, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, time of request, IP address. This data cannot be attributed to specific persons and is not merged with other data sources.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The current version is always available on this page.
