Body geometry was refined to balance comfort and active feedback. Swift transmits exactly what the wing is doing in a reassuring, predictable way.
Comfort is supported by extensive padding throughout the harness, a breathable padded back and wide shoulder straps. The rigid seat plate is covered with dense foam and complemented by load-bearing semi-rigid elements integrated into the back.
A double set of ball-bearing pulleys provides smooth, effortless operation of the speed system.
The SWIFT Race is a full racing harness with dual reserve option — fully EN certified to 120 kg. Crash protection combines a 17 cm Airfoam protector with a Lexan sheet.

Who is the Swift Race built for?
For competition. It is APCO's flagship harness and combines mechanics with aerodynamics — faired shape, closed speedbag, geometry designed for low drag. The price is demand: a competition harness requires a clean entry after launch and the ability to use its more direct feedback. For the first seasons after training, the First or the SLT are the more suitable choice.
What is the difference between Swift Race, Sport and Zero?
All three share the same basic geometry. The Race is the most uncompromising version, the Sport sits in the middle and the Zero is the entry into the range — same comfort and geometry, but with a leaner spec. If the seating position and handling of the family suit you, you can choose within it by budget and ambition.
What sizes does the Swift Race come in?
M/L and XL. With a pod harness the right size matters more than with any other type: too big and you slide in the speedbag and struggle to get in after launch; too small and you sit compressed. Tell us your height and back length and we will determine the size together.
What EN class does this harness have?
None — and that is not a defect but a common mix-up. EN classes A to D describe the flight behaviour of paraglider canopies under EN 926-2. Harnesses are tested to their own standard (EN 1651), which covers the attachment, strength and the protector. If someone offers you a harness as "EN-A", it is mislabelled. The actual test documents for this model are available as downloads.
Is a reserve parachute included?
No. Harness and reserve are ordered separately, and that makes sense: the reserve must match the suspended weight, the container the packing volume of the reserve. Tell us which rescue system you want to install — we will check in advance whether container and canopy fit together.
