“The easiest inflation characteristics available, period” — even with a light tail wind.
“Easy and predictable landing (unlike single skins)” — with very light brake pressure.
Built for paramotor and hike & fly — “the easiest and smoothest flight experience for you and your passengers”.

✅ The easiest inflation characteristics available period. Less prone to inadvertent inflation than a single skin glider. ✅ Low Take-Off Speed – for even the most uncooperative passengers. ✅ Real Flare capability – better than any single Skin. ✅ Very Light brake pressure. ✅ Un-matched Roll and pitch Stability, truly amazing!
Designed for both Paramotor and mountain flying, the Hybrid tandem delivers the easiest and smoothest flight experience possible for you and your passengers.
Certified EN-B with both Trimmers closed and Open, with a weight range from 110 to 190 Kg.
The Hybrid is much more than an exotic wing for special purposes. It offers many advantages over single skin designs and also classic wings in beginner to sport categories. Hybrid wings will become mainstream products within a few years, replacing many classic designs out there. We are proud that APCO is behind such an innovation!
First-hand impressions straight from the air.
The wing is certified EN B in the tandem size 35 and additionally DGAC-registered. Unlike several other models in the range there are no size differences in the certification — there is one size, and the EN-B classification exists for it.
The Hybrid Tandem comes in two versions. They differ in the risers: the paramotor version comes with the riser configuration suited to powered flying. Decide on the version before ordering — switching later means new risers, not just an adjustment.
The Hybrid Tandem carries 1 year or 100 flight hours, exclusively for manufacturing defects. That is considerably less than the 3 years / 250 hours APCO grants on most other models, and we say so openly: on a tandem in commercial use, 100 hours are reached quickly. Factor that in if you use the wing for passenger flights.
The hybrid profile combines closed and open profile areas. On a tandem this pays off above all in weight — on a wing you carry to launch together with two harnesses and a reserve, every saved kilo is noticeable. Added to that: a shark-nose leading edge and the FLEXON rod system in the ribs. Speeds: trim 35 km/h, maximum above 45 km/h, minimum sink 1.1 m/s.
In the DACH region a tandem rating is required in addition to the regular pilot licence. For paid passenger flights, commercial requirements and suitable insurance apply; the rules differ between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Clarify with your federation before ordering.
Skytex in 27 and 33 g/m², both zero-porosity ripstop nylon — the lighter cloth weights, matching the lightweight design of the hybrid profile. The colour option is Blue/White/Lime.
