Maintenance

Repack every 6 months.

APCO's manual requires the reserve to be repacked by a qualified person every six months, plus an annual airworthiness check. After every deployment it must be repacked before the next flight, and after ten deployments it goes back to the manufacturer for inspection. Any canopy older than ten years must be retired — even if it looks intact. We coordinate the service with our workshop in Taufkirchen.
