About this model.
It is designed for pilots on the move who want the comfort and protection of a fully equipped harness at roughly half the weight.
Turn the harness inside out, place the paraglider inside and it is ready to carry.
Based on its successful predecessor, ChairBag V was improved in the materials, geometry, comfort and in-flight behaviour.

Frequently asked questions about the APCO Chairbag V.
What does "reversible harness" mean?
The harness turns inside out and becomes the rucksack you carry the wing in. So you do not need a separate pack sack. At launch you turn it back and fly with it — saving weight and one piece of equipment.
Does it fit my body height?
One size, designed for 160 to 185 cm. The measurements: back length 700 mm, seat length 390 mm, seat width 380 mm, supported back length 450 mm, hang-point height 430 mm. The carabiner spacing ranges from 385 to 575 mm.
What does it weigh complete?
2.95 kg for the harness plus 290 g for the Polycomb seat plate — 3.24 kg together. For a fully equipped reversible harness with seat plate that is a good figure; a pure lightweight harness like the Hike, however, weighs a third of that.
What EN class does this harness have?
None — and that is not a defect but a common mix-up. EN classes A to D describe the flight behaviour of paraglider canopies under EN 926-2. Harnesses are tested to their own standard (EN 1651), which covers the attachment, strength and the protector. If someone offers you a harness as "EN-A", it is mislabelled. The actual test documents for this model are available as downloads.
Is a reserve parachute included?
No. Harness and reserve are ordered separately, and that makes sense: the reserve must match the suspended weight, the container the packing volume of the reserve. Tell us which rescue system you want to install — we will check in advance whether container and canopy fit together.
