High-B
High-B is market terminology (not a certification class) for the highest-performing paragliders within the EN-B certification to EN 926-2. The standard itself only knows classes A to D.

High-B appears in no standard: EN 926-2 classifies paragliders solely into A to D. The three-way split low / mid / high established itself on the market because the B class spans the widest range — from the good-natured step-up wing after school to gliders whose performance approaches the C class. The certification is identical (flight tests per size); the pilot skill required is not.
APCO’s high-B is the Nestra Light: “A true cross country machine offering C level performance in the EN-B category with real life B level safety” — a true 2.5-liner (per APCO “the only wing in the B category to date”), aspect ratio 6.0, just 215 m of lines. The mid-B counterpart in the range is the Vista VI — positioned by APCO itself as “APCO’s middle B”.
Whenever class matters: certification can vary per size — always check the certificate for your own size.
