FLEXON® is APCO's batten system reinforcing leading edge and ribs. Per the manufacturer 'indestructible' and 'memory free' — the battens need no special care and no special folding technique.

“Memory free” means the battens keep no crease memory — the canopy can be packed normally, without a special packing technique.
Where it is used
In the datasheets the system appears as “Rib Reinforcement: FLEXON® batten system” and as “L/E FLEXON battens®” (leading edge). Whether a specific model uses FLEXON is in its datasheet under “Rib Reinforcement”.
