OAA — One Action Acceleration
OAA ('One Action Acceleration-system') is APCO's speed system on reflex wings: per the manufacturer, the speed bar lets you 'accelerate to the maximum in one swift motion' — the fastest possible transition between trim speed and full acceleration.

What the manufacturer says
From the APCO manual: “OAA is an innovative system that stands for ‘One Action Acceleration-system’.” On the product pages:
“Choose the speed bar and the OAA system will allow you to accelerate to the maximum in one swift motion!”
For the NRG III, APCO describes the purpose as: “OAA — designed to allow the fastest possible transition between trim speed to fully accelerated and back to trim speed.”
Operation per the manual
- To activate, the Brummel hooks below the trimmers are unlocked; before accelerating, the trimmers belong at the neutral position (blue mark).
- “Basically when using OAA the trimmers should be at zero position and not opened completely.”
- Flying with OAA locked and wanting maximum speed means fully opening the trimmers first — the speed bar then needs more force.
